29th of last month (May) was my last day with DAL and while the day started with both Vineet and Deepak (Directors of DAL ) asking me to com back and join them in a years time, I ended with an equally touchy farewell from my team members and some other members of the DAL team. I shared a few sweets with all the DA: family members and a chocolate for Vineet. It was really a great feeling when I met all the members personally and say good bye and thank them for all the cooperation during my tenure at DAL.

I arrived in Hyderabad today and came directly to the Media Contacts office from the airport. It is a new set up and yet to take the final shape of an office. While Ravi was more than helpful I guiding me with the office address, the cabby dropped me in front of Hero Honda showroom instead of Honda Showroom, after a good 15-20 minutes search around I could finally locate the actual office building – just a 5 minutes walk from the place I was; but when you have two heavy luggage to carry besides the laptop, I bet it can be a good bit of workout

It was nice to meet my colleagues here, Smriti and Mayur who welcomed me and Amit dropped in later around 12.30pm. We are yet busy setting up the office getting the infrastructures and finally get onto work, probably it will take us a day or two more before we can get to the actual work but am really excited about joining MC and am sure this will allow me t a better insight into the search industry and to share more with you all.

One thing that is haunting me is the white space on top of the blog that you see when you are on IE, on Mozilla it looks perfect though. I tried a few tweaks but couldn’t fix it

Update: There was one other major bug with this template that I did not notice. The “Comment” system would not work on this template and my friend Mani Karthik from TVM (I guess that’s Trivandam) found that for me . He also helped me with some good tips on how to solve the issue and now its working Thanks Mani !
