]]> Microsoft Advertising/Live Search introduced a potentially great keyword research tool early November of this year at the Search Marketing Expo in London. It’s an Excel 2007 addin, which gives you the opportunity to very quickly build or expand Search engine marketing /paid search campaigns, get cost history, relevance, demographic data, and so on. It also can be useful from a SEO and copywriting perspective.


The Excel Add in is free for download, so you can always test it if you have Excel 2007 on your system.

However, one disadvantage of this tool is that the data produced are most likely the results and data history from Live Search only. As the search market is predominantly occupied by Google this raises the questions about how valuable this data would be as it is the representation of just a very small share of the total usage. But again, as it is a free add in there’s no harm giving it a try.
