Ready for Delhi SEO Meet – The First SEO Conference in India

Well, its 29th today and we are all set to fly for the first ever SEO conference in India “Delhi SEO Meet”. As I mentioned in my earlier post about Delhi SEO Meet, I plan to attend the conference with one of my friend/colleague Nirupam Roy and I am expecting to meet some really great people out there.

In the mean time, we had a tough time getting a room reservation. As Clarks Inn, where the Delhi SEO conference would be held is pretty far from Delhi Airport, we planned to reserve a room in the same hotel but our initial enquiry was turned down because they were all full in this weekend.However, the good news is that they informed us of some vacancies a few days back and we have managed to get a room there… Yipeeee, at least we wont need to wade through Delhi traffic in the scorching sun…and may be for once, Nirupam would be punctual for a meeting

Its going to be a pretty hectic schedule for both of us to attend the SEO conference, we will be flying for Delhi tomorrow evening – attend Delhi SEO Meet on Saturday, whole day and again fly back home to Kolkata in the afternoon.. so , not much time for fun and touristic ventures, neither would we be able to stay back for the post-conference party on Sunday but I hope we will have a good time over all meeting not just good SEO s but many nice people as well

so guys… Delhi Chalo……

SEO Meet in New Delhi, India

Like in all other fields related to computers and Internet, Indians have been contributing actively to the SEO and Internet Marketing field for some time now. However, unfortunately most of us had to remain satisfied with reading the weblogs or listening to podcasts when it came to SEO conferences. May it be SES or Pubcon, we hardly get a chance/ can afford to attend those seminars and voice our opinion.With the increasing number of Indian youth getting into SEO business, it was actually a matter of time before we had a SEO conference of our own and now it is here !!

Thanks to the organiser brigade (Vaibhav Kakkar, Pankaj Gupta, Amit Patel, Sumit Bahl, Chinmay) – all members of Digital Point SEO Forum who took the initiative to organise this meet. This SEO meet will also be attended by some of the Whos who of the SEO world :

I am done with my registration ( yet to receive a confirmation from Vaibhab) and plan to attend this SEO meet along with one of my colleague.

Like any other SEO conference, lets hope that this will also be a fantastic platform to share knowledge and sicuss ideas with like minded people while enjoying the party environment. This is probably the beginning and I am sure we can make this an annual event with increased participation and exposure.
